Mary and Matt Stinnette of Chesapeake, Virginia, had recently purchased a home with a two-story family room. The walls in the room (and much of the house) were stark, uninviting and unimaginative white. Desiring to add color and mystical whimsy to a towering blank slate, without losing floor space, the couple commissioned Jennifer to paint a large Wisteria tree with bonsai-like branches and trunk.

What resulted was a meandering lavender blossom Wisteria tree, flourishing from an outcropping of capricious gemstone colored wildflowers, grasses and mushrooms. The famiy's names are playfully inscribed on the bark of the tree. Under the shelter of its hanging branches sits a raven haired mythical fairy with sparkling gossamer violet and fuschia wings.  The much admired giant mural is often a topic of conversation when visitors gather in the room.
